Last Day Of The Year.
It is December 31st 2011, the last day in the year. I'm thankful to God for keeping me as well as my family, throughout the year. You have been my daily provider and Your faithfulness, matchless! As this year closes, and a new year begins, I look forward to having a deeper relationship with You Lord. I prayer Your will in the lives of Your people, and that the Lost will come to know You as their Savior. Thank You for time spent with family and friends, a great gift that I genuinely appreciate. Thank You Lord, for all Your blessings, great and small.

May we forever serve You, as we hold fast to the greatest gift known to man, your son, Jesus.

Reflecting on Holidays.
With Thanksgiving behind me and Christmas ahead, I'm thankful for time spent with my family in a warm home, with great food, and good health. God has been good to us. Even in a recession, we have plenty and there is no lack of the basics(food, shelter, water, clothing). Thank you God for Your Faithfulness. I look ahead to Christmas, my favorite time of year! These days, there is so much controversy about Christmas. No one wants to say, "Merry Christmas". Instead, "Happy Holiday" is steadily replacing it. Before I continue, let's look at some holidays. I'll pick just a few because there are so many holidays within the twelve months.
Question: What holiday is January 1st?
Answer: New Years Day
Question: What holiday is July 4th?
Answer: Independence Day
Question: What holiday is November 11th?
Answer:Veteran's Day
Question: What holiday is December 25th?
Answer: (a) Christmas
(b) Happy Holiday
The correct answer to that question is (a)Christmas. They are all Holidays on the calender year, yet no one say, happy holiday on Veteran's Day, they say, happy Veterans Day. In addition, Happy Independence Day, on that day, and never happy holiday. This goes for every holiday from January through December, but Christmas has been targeted because of Christ. His name, is being removed or "X" out of things and places everywhere. It is the evidence that His name is a threat to the darkness in the world. His name is forbidden in schools, public and goverment places. Thank God that He is Supreme. It is sweet music to my ears that GOD IS FOREVER IN CONTROL, and despite all efforts of mankind, and the powers of evil, to erase the name of JESUS CHRIST, HIS NAME stands FOREVER. I'll simply close with this, Merry Christmas, everyone. (0:

My Sons
Oh when I think of my sons, I can't help but smile from ear to ear! They are such lovely young men, and I love them very much. It was a joy parenting them because they listened to what I told them. They were not rebellious kids, and I'm thankful to God that they chose to follow my instructions. I'm sure as children, they wished that my parenting was more "relax" but I always saw my sons as future leaders, and grooming them for their future was my top priority. Today, they are in college and successfully using the skills taught at home, to stay ahead of the game, namely, peer pressure. I'm very proud of them because they have shown me that they can handled themselves outside of these four walls, home. I know that as a parent, I most certainly have made mistakes along the way, since I haven't dotted every "I" and crossed every "T". However,I'm thankful for God's grace that supplemented for all my shortcomings. From reading this, one may conclude that I'm a single parent but I'm not. My husband also love his sons, or as he would say it, "the fruits of his loins". His military career "robbed" him of some of their child rearing but he is slowly meeting the challenge of relating to them as adults. All in all, our sons are our life! They are God's gift to us, and we both treasure them. One thing I know, my sons could grow as old as Methuselah, they would always be my sons, my babies, my heart, my love. I'll love them forever, until the end of time. Thank You God for choosing me to be their mom.

Accomplished
Well, I've made it! Today was another hectic day. However, I've accomplished much. Thank You God for the strength to do from the smallest thing,to the greatest things today. When I have something to do, I really like to get it done. I'm not a fan of procrastination, and I prefer to keep it that way. There is an old adage that goes like this, "never put off for tomorrow, what you can do today." I really try to live by this. Sometimes, laziness keeps meet from living up to it, but eight out of ten times, I get whatever I set out to do, done. How wonderful things could be, if people would complete things in a timely manner. The benefits are great! There is definitely the benefit of having less stress, and people everywhere would certainly welcome that! Thank You God for helping me today.

Worship
Today is Sunday, and I attended church like I usually do each week. I couldn't help but feel very priviledge, that the God who created heaven and earth would allow me, as well as all people with our flaws, and issues to worship Him. Then I remembered what God said to Moses, when He sent him to Pharaoh. He told Moses, to go to Egypt and tell Pharaoh, to let His people go, so that they may worship Him. God created mankind to worship Him! We have the opportunity, either on Saturday or Sunday, to worship the God who spoke to Moses and that is so very "awesome" to me! What a blessing it is to have freedom to attend church and praise God without being threaten or fearful! Not everyone has this priviledge. Like the Israelites under Pharaoh's thumb, some people in our modern day society are not free to worship. For example, the Christians in China, cannot worship freely. They have to worship underground at the risk of their lives. We are so bless to live in a Nation that allows us to worship openly, yet many choose not to honor the Lord at all. Lord forgive them. They obviously don't see the importance of worshipping you, or in their minds,You simply don't exist. I thank You that You are merciful to the just and unjust. My prayer is that people would choose to have a lifestyle of worship each day of the week, and not just on the sabbath(the day set aside to worship you). We have so much to praise you for. The list is endless! I thank you God for You are worthy of all the praise.

Thankful
Thank you God for this day! I had a busy day today but nevertheless, I'm grateful. Some people can no longer have a busy day because they are buried. They are dead, gone, never to return to enjoy a day of business or idleness. I don't wan't to take things or people for granted. I don't ever want to have an ungrateful lifestyle. I don't to be familiar with it or it with me. I have chosen, and will continue to choose to be grateful, thankful and appreciative of people and things everywhere. May people everywhere embrace gratitude, in Jesus name. Amen

Faithful
Lord you are so faithful in all your ways, and I'm thankful for your faithfulness in my life. I am faithful in some areas of my life but other areas lack faithfulness. I'm faithful in my marriage but sometimes lack faithfulness in my devotions. God teach me to be faithful and consistent in my devotions. There are times when I get caught up in things of this world, and as a result, I miss spending quality time with You. Forgive me Lord. I thank You in advance for your touch of faithfulness on my life. I prayer that people everywhere will be faithful to You, faithful to themselves, and to others. I prayer that they would sow faithfulness, and reap a harvest of loyalty to honor Your name and bring You glory.

Peace
I love peace. I have peace. Even when things are not going well, there is peace in my spirit. Lord I thank you so much for giving me peace. I'm so appreciative to have a life of peace and not turmoil. There are people who have so much money, but for what ever reason, they don't have peace and they are very unhappy. All the money in the world can't buy peace. It is a fruit of the Spirit and I'm so bless to have it. God, in the name of Jesus, I prayer for peace for whoever is going through at this moment. I ask you to keep their minds, to meet their needs and to bless them with peace as their yield their life in total surrender to You. Amen

Joyful
What a wonderful day I had today!! I enjoyed chatting with an older lady,Arlene who came and sat next to me in the library. I was there to spend some "quiet time" with God by reading the word (Bible). Needless to say, it was not quiet. However, I managed to tune out the crying babies, and continued reading and praying, until the lady asked," what ever happened to being quiet inside the library?" We chatted for an hour about her life, and how things were when she grew up. I shared some things about my upbringing and she seemed so please to have met me. Later, she left and went out the door. I stayed behind and continued reading for thirty minutes, then I left the library. Thank you Lord for using me to lift someone's spirit today. She came in, not feeling well and I just wanted "quiet time" with You. I'm glad that I served her needs before my own. Thankful that I was cordial and not in my own world, too busy to see hurting people. I love you Lord, this random meeting gave me joy as well as Arlene. Thank you for using me to touch the lives of others in a unique way.

There is always an appointed time
Lord I thank you for the chance to finally write on this blog again. Yesterday was a year, this blog was started and I've only managed to pen a few entrances to my blog, simply because I locked myself out due to my own memory lapse! funny indeed, but thank you Lord, that with patience, I've overcome.Today is a beautiful Fall day and I'm so thankful to be alive to give God praise for all of His goodness towards me. People every where have been affected by the economy but despite this, You have kept me and my family. Lord I prayer for those who are struggling in these difficult times. I prayer that you would strengthen them and encourage their hearts. Make a way for them and meet all their needs like you're meeting mine. Most importantly, draw them to the true source, which is You Lord. I thank you in advance for every prayer answered, and I sealed this prayer, in Jesus name. Amen. It's feel so good to be back on my blog. (0:
