Reflecting on Holidays.

With Thanksgiving behind me and Christmas ahead, I'm thankful for time spent with my family in a warm home, with great food, and good health. God has been good to us. Even in a recession, we have plenty and there is no lack of the basics(food, shelter, water, clothing). Thank you God for Your Faithfulness. I look ahead to Christmas, my favorite time of year! These days, there is so much controversy about Christmas. No one wants to say, "Merry Christmas". Instead, "Happy Holiday" is steadily replacing it. Before I continue, let's look at some holidays. I'll pick just a few because there are so many holidays within the twelve months.
Question: What holiday is January 1st?
Answer: New Years Day
Question: What holiday is July 4th?
Answer: Independence Day
Question: What holiday is November 11th?
Answer:Veteran's Day
Question: What holiday is December 25th?
Answer: (a) Christmas
               (b) Happy Holiday
The correct answer to that question is (a)Christmas. They are all Holidays on the calender year, yet no one say, happy holiday on Veteran's Day, they say, happy Veterans Day. In addition, Happy Independence Day, on that day, and never happy holiday. This goes for every holiday from January through December, but Christmas has been targeted because of  Christ. His name, is being removed or "X" out of  things and places everywhere. It is the evidence that His name is a threat to the darkness in the world. His name is forbidden in schools, public and goverment places. Thank God that He is Supreme. It is sweet music to my ears that GOD IS FOREVER IN CONTROL, and despite all efforts of mankind, and the powers of evil, to erase the name of JESUS CHRIST, HIS NAME stands FOREVER. I'll simply close with this, Merry Christmas, everyone. (0:
